Battle for Trees exists to protect, plant and champion trees not just for today, but for future generations. In 2026, we are expanding our activities, strengthening community involvement and building momentum around new initiatives that will make a real difference across Battle and the surrounding area.

From increased tree-planting opportunities and community engagement events, to the continued development of our community tree nursery and education work, this year is all about action, collaboration and growth. There will be more chances than ever to get involved, learn, and help safeguard the natural landscape we all cherish.

Meet Us in the Community

We’re starting the year by getting out and about in Battle. Battle for Trees will have a table at the “New Year, New You” event at the Memorial Hall in Battle on Sunday 11 January, from 10am to 12 noon.

We will be giving away trees for a small donation to help enhance Battle’s tree planting in your back garden!

This is a great opportunity to:

• Meet members of the Battle for Trees team
• Learn more about our plans for 2026
• Find out how you can get involved, whether as a volunteer, supporter or advocate for trees
