🌱 Celebrate Imbolc with Battle for Trees! 🌱
On February 1st, we celebrated Imbolc, the Celtic festival honouring the goddess Brigid. This special time marks the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, symbolizing the gradual return of warmth and light.
Spring is on its way!
We’re thrilled to share that we recently received 1,000 mixed-species seedlings and are preparing to establish a tree nursery at Olivers Hill Farm. Over the past few weeks, we’ve also begun planting a hedgerow to divide a field in two—an initiative that will significantly boost biodiversity. However, there’s still more to do!

📅 Join Us for Planting Days!
We’ll be heading to the farm on March 8th or 9th, depending on member availability. If you’d like to join us, please connect through our WhatsApp group. We’d love your support, and we’ll be providing lifts from Battle to help reduce costs and emissions.
